New Academic Year, New Hope
It’s the time of the year again! University of Malaya reopens for a new academic year on July 7th, 2008. After two months of holidays, returning students, along with incoming first years, stepped into their beloved alma mater.
It presents a great opportunity for YD to kickstart its activities for another academic year – beginning with evangelism and Bible Study.

Who Sinned?
John 9:2
And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
Sometimes the question comes up of whether our physical suffering on earth is the result of sin. Who sinned? That is the question the disciples asked Jesus in John 9. Was it the blind man or his parents? Jesus responded by clearly pointing out there was no specific correlation here. In other words, the blind man was not being punished for his own sin or the sin of his parents.

YD Malaysia: We are a Family in Christ
During the evening of August 11th, 2008, YD Malaysia organised a get-together for the campus group and young adults group. There were times of joy where members joined in for dinner, sharing and games; but also times of sadness as this gathering would be last for some who will be leaving shortly to further their studies overseas.
As members ponder upon the future spent apart, YD Malaysia Advisor, Rev. Lim encouraged members with his sharing from Ephesians 2:19-20.
